Marion County Master Gardeners’ 2019 Spring Festival!!

Saturday, March 9th, 8 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. AND Sunday, March 10th, 9 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. The 25th Anniversary Marion County Master Gardeners’ SPRING FESTIVAL will be held (under the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion), 2232 NE Jacksonville Road, Ocala FL 34470.

The Marion County Master Gardeners’ Spring Festival is the area’s largest all-in-one plant sale and gardening expo & will feature vendors selling a wide array of plants, garden décor, plant-related accessories, vermicomposting products and supplies and much more!

Festival attendees can find almost everything they need for gardening and landscaping all in one place.  In-garden talks with experts, Seminars on multiple topics, and the Kids’ Gardening Zone make this festival fun, entertaining, and educational for the whole family.

34th Annual Fall Garden Extravaganza ~ Munn Park, Lakeland

SATURDAY, October 27th, 8:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m. The 34th Annual Fall Garden Extravaganza presented by the Garden Club of Lakeland will be held in Munn Park, 201E. Main Street, in beautiful downtown Lakeland, FL 33801.

This years’ show will feature new plants and garden art from around the state as well as many of its regular vendors.  Master Gardeners will be there to answer your questions, “Give Aways” and Opportunity Drawings, and Food and Drinks will be available!

Lake Nona Home & Garden Festival

Sunday, May 6th, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM EDT at the Lake Nona Town Center, 6900 Tavistock Lakes Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32827

The Lake Nona Home & Garden Festival aims to be a one-stop-shop for finding out the latest in indoor and outdoor products and innovations for the home and garden. Visitors can get information about sustainability gardening from vendors showcasing the latest in permaculture and growing in tune with the environment. There will be plenty to see with lots of DIY info about home projects for kitchens, baths, and landscapes.

All this information-gathering can make a person hungry, so the organizers have made sure to include a food and entertainment zone to refuel and stay focused.

4th Annual Garden Show & Spring Festival at Cedar Lakes Woods

Saturday, May 5th 9:30 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. AND Sunday, May 6th 9:30 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.  The 4th Annual Garden Show & Spring Festival will be held at Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens, 4990 NE 180th Ave., Williston, FL 32696.

This is a spectacular venue with numerous garden enhancements and the completion of its brand new tortoise enclosure!!  Vendors offering plants, garden accessories and supplies, Arts & Crafts, and food as well as live entertainment make this event a great family oriented experience!!

57th Annual Apopka Art & Foliage Festival

Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. AND Sunday, April 29th from 10:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.  The 57th Annual Apopka Art & Foliage Festival will be held at Kit Land Nelson Park, 35 S. Park Avenue, Apopka, FL 32703.

Apopka is the indoor foliage capital of the world! Come to this Very Special Event featuring spectacular Foliage Vendors, Arts & Crafts, Entertainment, Food Vendors, and the popular Kid Zone!!

Our Vital Earth will be at this elegant Foliage Festival and participating as a “Specialist” in the Foliage Area.  We will have great Customer Appreciation Specials and much more!!

The Apopka Woman’s Club Bus Tour will leave from the Festival Location and visit Our Vital Earth Worm Farm on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.!!

32nd Annual St. Petersburg Green Thumb Festival

This Festival is St. Petersburg’s largest Horticultural and Environmental Festival and Features many popular activities for the family, Vendors with every kind of plant imaginable, Entertainment, Children’s programs, Environmental programs, Food court and so much more!!  Come and Join in the Fun & Excitement!!

23rd Annual St. Augustine Flower & Garden Expo

Saturday, April 21st 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. AND Sunday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.  The Garden Club of St. Augustine presents the 23rd Annual Flower & Garden Expo at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center located at 3125 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092.

Sponsored by EPIC Behavioral Healthcare, this two-day event showcases a variety of Vendors with everything needed to start or enhance a garden, including native plants, butterfly plants, colorful flowering plants, herbs, succulents, ferns, citrus and olive trees, and much more.

This year’s event will include garden-related artisans, lectures by gardening experts on both days, Children’s Activity Area, the annual Flower & Horticulture Show by the Garden Club of St. Augustine, and the annual Quilt Show by the Piecemakers Guild of St. Augustine.

Food and Beverages will be available for purchase.  Admission is $5 for adults, which is good for both days AND Children are admitted FREE!

Friday, April 20th at 3:30 p.m. Bernie Moro, Vermiculture Coordinator for Our Vital Earth Worm Farm, will talk with Debbie O’Brien, Show Hostess, about the upcoming 57th Apopka Art & Foliage Festival, April 28th and 29th.  The Apopka Women’s Club Bus Tour leaves the Festival Grounds about 10:00 a.m. and will visit Our Vital Earth for a tour until 11:45 p.m.

Friday, April 20th, 11:30 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. Bernie Moro, Vermiculture Coordinator at Our Vital Earth Worm Farm, will give a Presentation to 28 students at Monarch Learning Academy including a Workshop where student will make individual worm farms to take home with an Activity Book!!
